Scope of Services
Our ongoing maintenance service is designed to keep your WordPress site secure, updated, and optimized. This includes:
- WordPress Core & Plugin Updates: We will ensure that your WordPress installation, theme, and plugins are always up to date, providing security patches and updates as they are released.
- Backup & Security: Monthly backups will be taken to safeguard your data. We will also provide SSL support to secure your website and implement Sucuri for enhanced security, protecting against malicious attacks.
- Monthly Reporting: A monthly report summarizing the updates, changes, and optimizations we have implemented will be shared with you, keeping you informed of the site’s health and status.
Additionally, on-page SEO support will be provided, primarily focused on optimizing meta titles and descriptions to enhance search engine visibility. We do not create or modify content specifically for SEO purposes. If you need content for blog posts or other sections of the website, it will need to be provided by you.
Change Requests & Limitations
You are entitled to up to three change requests per month for minor adjustments, such as text, image, link replacements, or simple formatting changes. Requests for more substantial changes—such as altering the website structure, redesigning user flows, or adding new features—are out of scope and will require additional consultation.
- Change Request Timeframe: Requests will typically be addressed within 24-48 hours, depending on our workload. However, more complex requests may take longer, and we reserve the right to extend the timeframe based on the volume of requests we receive.
- To maintain the highest quality of service, each tier of our Ongoing Maintenance plans includes a defined number of change requests per month. These requests are managed with efficiency in mind, ensuring timely and effective updates:Starter Pack: Includes 0 change requests per month.
Professional Plan: Offers up to 3 change requests per month, with each request limited to 1 hour of execution time.
Elite Tier: The number of change requests is contract-defined, with each request capped at 1 hour.
Technical Limitations: While we will make every effort to implement proposed optimizations, some changes may be impossible due to compatibility issues or limitations in the current website build. In such cases, we will notify you of the constraints.
Admin Access, Refunds & Co-Hubitors Network
To effectively carry out the necessary maintenance, we require full administrative access to your WordPress site. Without this, we cannot perform updates or optimizations effectively. We will also require full access to any third-party services integrated with your website.
Regarding refunds, we do not offer standard refunds. However, in exceptional cases, where we find that the technical limitations of your site make it impossible to perform the agreed services, we may consider offering a refund after a thorough review. Refunds are issued at our sole discretion.
Co-Hubitors SEO Network
Clients who purchase the Professional maintenance plan or above are automatically enrolled in the Co-Hubitors SEO Network. This network includes off-page SEO strategies such as backlinking and light promotion across websites currently under Updivvy’s management. The goal of this network is to help increase your site’s visibility and improve its SEO performance.
You have the right to opt-out of the Co-Hubitors network at any time. Should you choose to opt-out, you will forgo the associated benefits, such as off-page SEO efforts and backlinking, but the maintenance services will remain unaffected.
We reserve the right to remove any party from the network if necessary, and we are not responsible for the results or services provided by other parties in the network.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Any significant changes will be communicated to you via email 7 days prior to implementation, and it is your responsibility to review these terms regularly.
By subscribing to our ongoing maintenance service, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions. We are committed to delivering the best possible service, but certain limitations may apply depending on your website’s current configuration and scope of requested changes.
