By subscribing to our Ongoing Maintenance Service, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Scope of Services
Our Ongoing Maintenance Service is intended to keep your WordPress website secure, stable, and performing optimally. Services include:
- WordPress Core, Theme & Plugin Updates: Regular updates to ensure compatibility and security.
- Backups & Security: Monthly site backups and enhanced protection using SSL and Sucuri to guard against common threats.
- Monthly Maintenance Reports: You will receive a summary of updates, actions performed, and general site health.
We also include basic on-page SEO support (e.g., meta titles and descriptions). This does not include SEO content writing, blog creation, keyword research, or full SEO audits unless otherwise agreed.
2. Change Requests & Plan Tiers
Minor change requests are included based on your plan:
- Starter Pack: No change requests included.
- Professional Plan: Up to 3 change requests per month (1 hour max per request).
- Elite Tier: Change request limits are defined contractually (1 hour max per request).
Examples of acceptable change requests: text updates, link replacements, simple formatting, or image swaps.
Requests involving functionality changes, layout redesigns, custom features, or structural adjustments are outside the scope and may require a separate project proposal.
Turnaround Time: Most change requests are fulfilled within 24–48 business hours, but we reserve the right to extend this based on request complexity or current workload.
3. Technical Limitations
Some requested changes or updates may not be feasible due to theme/plugin restrictions, server limitations, or overall website architecture. We will notify you if any such constraints arise. Additional services beyond the defined scope may be quoted separately.
4. Admin Access & Third-Party Integrations
To perform maintenance effectively, we require full administrator access to your WordPress site and any relevant third-party services (e.g., hosting, analytics, CDN).
Lack of access may limit our ability to fulfill services and does not constitute grounds for a refund or service credit.
5. Billing, Cancellation & Refund Policy
You may choose between monthly or annual billing options:
- Monthly Plan: Billed every 30 days. Cancel any time before the next billing cycle to avoid future charges.
- Annual Plan: Billed once yearly at a discounted rate. You may cancel at any time, but no refunds—full or partial—will be issued for unused months.
No Refund Policy: All payments are final. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, including early cancellation, unused service time, or incompatibility with your website.
6. Co-Hubitors SEO Network
The Co-Hubitors SEO Network is currently in beta. While we are actively developing and refining its structure, participation does not come with any guaranteed outcomes in terms of SEO rankings, traffic, or visibility.
- This is an experimental initiative designed to test off-page SEO strategies such as backlinking, cross-promotion, and ecosystem-based SEO support.
- As this feature is still under development, service consistency, scope, and impact may vary.
- No guarantees are made regarding SEO performance, link longevity, or third-party engagement.
- Opt-Out: You may opt out of the network at any time, but will forfeit its SEO benefits.
- Disclaimer: We are not responsible for the performance or practices of other sites within the network. Participation may be revoked at our discretion.
By remaining in the network, you acknowledge that this is a beta program and agree not to hold Updivvy or its affiliates responsible for any perceived or actual lack of SEO benefit. Participation is optional and you may opt out at any time without affecting your core maintenance services.
7. Privacy & Data Handling
We respect your privacy and handle your data with care. Key privacy practices include:
- Data Access: Admin credentials and third-party logins are stored securely and used solely for maintenance purposes.
- Confidentiality: All client data, including website content, analytics, and business-related information, is treated as confidential.
- No Data Sharing: We do not share, sell, or disclose your data to third parties.
8. Termination & Service Discontinuation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Maintenance services will continue until the end of the billing period. Upon cancellation:
- Access to monthly reports, updates, and support will cease at the end of your current billing cycle.
- We recommend downloading recent backups and reports before your subscription ends.
We reserve the right to terminate service at any time if:
– Access is not provided within 14 days of onboarding
– You violate the terms outlined here
– Abuse or misuse of support channels occurs
9. No Guarantee Clause
While we aim to improve your website’s stability, performance, and visibility, we make no guarantees regarding specific results, such as search engine rankings, traffic increases, or sales performance. SEO, uptime, and website performance are influenced by many factors outside of our control.
10. Modifications to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email with 7 days’ notice. Continued use of the service constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
